Manually delete temporary files
To delete Windows temporary
files
Exit all
programs.
If you are
reading this page on the
Web, you may leave your Web browser open.
On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run
In the Run dialog box, type the following text:
%temp%
Click OK.
The current user's Temp folder opens in
Windows Explorer.
On the Edit menu, click Select All.
Press Delete.
If you are asked to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
To delete Temporary
Internet files
Start Internet Explorer.
Click Tools > Internet Options.
In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Files.
Check Delete all offline content, and then click OK.
