Academic Program Manager

The Academic Program Manager is tasked with building, delivering and implementing strategies & tactics in order to attract relevant candidates from Academic area.

He targets faculty, faculties' decision makers, IT staff & students to accomplish this goal.

JOB PROFILE

·   &nbs 20120b118u p;   &nbs 20120b118u p; Organize/participate in academic events, including Roadshows, Jobshops, Company presentations events etc

·   &nbs 20120b118u p;   &nbs 20120b118u p; Implement Microsoft GTSC University Program for IT labour market readiness

·   &nbs 20120b118u p;   &nbs 20120b118u p; Student GTSC internship program

·   &nbs 20120b118u p;   &nbs 20120b118u p; Establish long-term relationship with academia & facilitate the integration of MS technology into their environments

·   &nbs 20120b118u p;   &nbs 20120b118u p; Supporting or leading project teams for Universities Projects/Programs

Assess and select the relevant universities needed to support the long term GTSC plans

Build and keep the relationship with universities

Deliver presentations at professional level

Actively participate to and follow-up the GTSC roadshows, and other related events

Plan, organize and actively being part of Job Shops; maintain relationships with organizing student associations / companies

Build up a continuous pipeline for recruitment purposes

Implement and coordinate internal activities required to support the University programs

Build up internship program (define content and attendance) in synch with MS Romania programs

Understand longterm GTSC strategy and translate it into actionable University partnerships programs

Plan and organize academic events and support the academic presence at Microsoft events

Create, use & maintain appropriate communication channels; keep them updated

Adapt and assure available materials (brochures, ppt, banners etc) for different events

Work together and interface with other departments within MS

REQUIREMENTS

• Good Project and Program management skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Fluency in English
• Good Marketing approach; Influencing and Presentation Skills required
• Team oriented, dedicated and self driven person
• Experience in working with distributed teams
• Ability for managing budgets
• Ability for building cross group plans
• Background in IT related discipline, or equivalent knowledge through experience is a plus.
• Technical skills in MS and non-MS world (products, technologies and development) is an advantage
• Proven experience in universities environment is a plus
