Changing the Library Display

You also have control of how the Library panel displays symbols.

To change the order of the symbol display:

Click the controls in the Library as follows:

o        Name arranges the items alphabetically.

o        Count arranges the items by the number of times they are used in the document

o        Date arranges the items by their creation date.

o        The toggle triangle reverses the order of the list

To hide or show the symbol previews:

Choose Preview from the Library submenu to hide the display of the symbols in the Library. Choose Preview again to show the symbol displays.

To display or hide the graphic symbols:

Choose Show Graphics from the Library submenu to hide the graphic symbols in the Library. Choose Show Graphics again to show the graphic symbols.

To display or hide the master page symbols:

Choose Show Master Pages from the Library submenu to hide the master page symbols in the Library. Choose Show Master Pages again to show the master page symbols.
